My Project
I am an educator at a Title I school located in a low socioeconomic neighborhood where one hundred percent of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. A vast majority of my students come from low socioeconomic or single-parent households. A large population of students walk to school from the nearby public housing apartments.
My multi-tiered students are in need of headphones to focus on their assignments while completing assignments in the technology center.
Our students utilize a computer-based literacy program designed to improve literacy skills. The Kensington Hi-Fi Headphones will be used to keep the students focused on their assignments. The snacks will be used to ward off hunger pains between breakfast and lunch.
