Help me give my students headphones for computers! Mastering technology skills is imperative to succeed in today's world. My students will be able to practice computer programming and have access to online texts through the use of headphones.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 75 fifth graders in a low income high needs school in the Bronx. My students come from a diverse background and are deserving of every opportunity that leads to success. However, I am in need of materials to help my students reach their full potential. Children love to take on new challenges and explore the world around them!
My students deserve adequate literacy skills that will help them succeed years beyond leaving my classroom.
This can only be accomplished through instilling passion and knowledge during their most critical years of learning. The children in my classroom are worthy of interesting and engaging texts that will not only provide stronger instruction in their day-to-day lessons, but for years to come!
My Project
Headphones may seem like a simple item, but they are an extremely useful tool! In order for my students to succeed in the future, they need to have exposure and access to computer skills at a young age. My students are currently learning about computer programming and how to code. In order for them to be fully immersed in the experience, they need headphones for the computers! We have a small set, but not enough for a classroom.
Headphones with expand our classroom library, by giving students access to online texts.
Listening to books aloud on the computer provides children with an opportunity to access a wider variety of genres and articles that may not be present in our library! I
