Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This class set of headphones will allow my students to access individualized learning through the iReady platform. The online platform supports students in math and reading learning goals.
The platform also allows students to learn in their home language.
Directions will be spoken in their home language and will eventually switch over to English. Several languages other than English are spoken in my classroom.
The online platform also gives individualized instruction. Students who pass their lessons will move one. Students who need more support in certain goals are given more practice until they are ready to move on.
Also, help add construction vehicles to our block center. Once of our science standards is forces of motion. My students like to use various types of vehicles of sizes and weights to see how fast they run down our class ramp. We make predictions on which vehicles will be fastest or slowest.
