My Project

Due to budget cuts I was just placed into a first grade classroom with no supplies. I am trying to create a listening center station where the children will be able to listen and read along with their books. This is an important skill for little readers because they are learning fluency, reading along and in the end answering comprehension questions. The books will be children’s classic picture books and they will be related to a theme of our current curriculum. I want the children to have access to books that they can read and listen to because they are just learning how to read.
