My Students

My students have diverse backgrounds and come from all over the world. Many students go home to speak a language other than English. Several are first generation Americans within their families.

Despite the many challenges they face such as poverty and a language barrier, they love to learn and to try new things.

My students have great attitudes about school and try their best. Please help support our classroom, so we many continue to grow and learn and become the best fourth graders possible!

My Project

Earbuds will help all students be able to focus on what they need to when using their technology. Several sets of our headphones are no longer working. My students need a way to be able to hear the sound and narration on their Chromebooks without having to filter the sounds from a neighboring student's Chromebook.

Having earbuds will help provide my students the ability to focus on the programs they are using on their Chromebooks.

Cases for the students' earbuds will prolong their use and ensure that there is a safe place to keep the earbuds when not in use.

I utilize a positive behavior reinforcement system in my classroom where students earn tickets throughout the day for demonstrating great behavior and making good choices. The students then "spend" their tickets at a weekly class store. Having a variety of prize options in the class store will be helpful to continually provide positive reinforcement for my students.
