My Project

My students are great! They are little bundles of energy who try their best to be wonderful learners in school. The six classes of fourth and fifth graders who will be coming to me for science next year have been through a lot the past two years. Socially, they missed over a year of working together in person, and emotionally, many have suffered great loss to Covid 19. Setting up my classroom for success as I change from an electives teacher to core curriculum requires a whole new mood when students come in.

This project will allow my students to enter a classroom where they can easily hear each other speak during discussions.

The speaker will be hooked up to our Qball microphone, so students won't need to shout or strain to hear during discussions, and the other supplies will be used to keep our lessons flowing and our goals posted.

By donating to this project, you will be helping over 150 students work in a classroom that is geared toward their success. They will have a classroom where their needs will be met whether it is being able to hear everyone during our daily discussions, seeing our Learning Targets written on chart paper, or having Post-It notes and extra pencils for our lessons.
