This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These earbuds and storage containers will enhance my students literacy rich classroom that I strive to create and support the diverse needs of my students. My classroom is a place where my students can feel safe and comfortable. It is a place where they can escape the chaos of a foreign place. Every academic experience can be enhanced by providing an audio experience. My students will be grateful for the opportunity to hear text being read to them in connection to their own reading.
The earbuds will provide an audio opportunity that will improve literacy, comprehension, retention, and participation.
My students will be able to hear English being read to them as well as record themselves speaking English as their second language. They are a bold and brave group of student, who would greatly appreciate the gift of audio learning.
