Listen Up 2: Enhancing Literacy with Yoto Story Cards

Help me give my students 70 Yoto audiobook cards to increase our media center's listening library.

My Project

My elementary school readers love the Yoto audiobook players we have in our school library. They enthusiastically listen to the story cards on their own, with friends, in the school library, and in their classrooms.

Having 70 new Yoto story cards will increase our audiobook library by 200% so that more students can find cards that are engaging to them.

Students will have access to classic titles, such as Mary Poppins, the Series of Unfortunate Events, and the Wizard of Oz, nonfiction books about dinosaurs, outer space, and the human body, and high-interest stories such as Disney-Pixar titles and graphic novels.

Yoto story cards enable students to access books that they cannot yet read by themselves. English language learners, students with disabilities, and struggling readers will especially benefit.
