This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The listening center is one of my students' favorite activity to go to during Daily 5 and at the end of the school year our CD player broke. We are in need of a Bluetooth CD Player to be able to listen and enjoy the many, many audiobooks I have purchased over the years. This will provide my students with the opportunity to engage with captivating stories and nonfiction content. Their language skills, listening comprehension, and imagination will thrive while listening and reading along. Furthermore, it promotes independent learning, fosters a love for reading, and creates a sense of joy and excitement within the classroom.
A listening center is a wonderful and essential resource for kindergarten students to foster their love for learning and develop essential language skills.
The listening center area fosters a sense of community and encourages peer interaction. The children can enjoy group listening sessions, where they discuss their favorite parts of the stories, share their thoughts, and bond over their shared experiences. This is a magical space for kindergarten students to grow. I hope you consider donating to this project.
