My Project

In this new era of distance learning, my students will often request to join my "in-person" class virtually when they are home sick or away from school for multiple school days. I can host a Google Meet where I can allow the student to virtually join our class to hear and see what I am teaching that day.

I can answer their questions, interact, and help them even though they are not physically present with me in class.

The problem that I'm running into is that I am limited to sitting at my work station because I'm having to use a corded microphone listening device. The addition of the Beats Bluetooth listening and speaking device will allow me to function normally with my class while maintaining open communication and interaction with the virtual student. This would be especially helpful for my students with learning disabilities. When they miss class due to sickness or other reasons, they often fall behind very quickly. The Beats would help me to bridge the gap between home and school when students miss my class.
