My Students
It is a privilege to get to work with young, growing minds, students who are a joy to be around, after a year and a half of distance learning hiatus from the physical classroom. They come to school ready to learn, looking forward to learning something new.
Eager, enthusiastic, out-of-the-box thinkers, my students are primed for a hands-on and relational learning environment.
They are capable and curious, and I would love to facilitate the growth of their potential with the necessary tools and equipment.
My Project
In order to listen to learn we need to learn to listen. Having this listening center in the classroom will help my students learn to listen. For some of them it's a matter of drowning out other sounds and noises. Being able to focus on the sounds that they hear when they put on the headphones at the listening center will enhance their ability to listen and in turn, open their minds and imaginations to other ways that are available to help them enjoy their learning experience when they are in school.
