My Project
I teach Math, Science and Mandarin Language Arts in Mandarin, which is the second or third language to the majority of my students. My students need to listen attentively in order to catch the language traits, imitate the language, produce the language and use the language in a meaningful setting. In January 2022, our school audio and microphone system were hit by a thunderstorm and have been broken since then. After many attempts through different departments, the systems are still not being fixed. Due to the district's maintenance regulations and the limit of school budget, the timeline for the systems to be fixed is unsure.
The Portable Bluetooth Speaker and Wireless Microphone System will help project the teacher's voice as well as the audio sound of teacher laptop to any location in the classroom.
The speaker and microphones can work together indoor or outdoor, with an easy setup. As first grade kids have many opportunities to explore science outdoors, this function will be a great plus. Moreover, the Rode Microphone System has two microphones. It can also be easily used for one or two students to share work to the whole class.
