Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Literacy, literacy, literacy! I am a third grade teacher in a high-need area. Most of my students are English language learners.We have no listening center in our classroom. They need to be able to hear something read to them, follow along and then practice it themselves. This is essential to the success of my students.We need headphones and books on tape for the listening center. My students will improve their fluency, comprehension, and writing skills by listening and reading along with books. You will help my students become successful readers and writers as well as book lovers.
