My Project

My incredibly smart and motivated 3rd graders need your help! This year I made the transition from teaching only writing, to being a self contained 3rd grade teacher. This means I am teaching math, ELA, small group literacy instruction, and writing! I need many new materials to help my students reach their greatest potential.

In our classroom, my students use computer programs to further their individual learning in both reading and math.

These programs give individualized instruction based on the academic needs of each student. The programs meet students academically where they are, and also shows them new content.

We use these programs during our literacy centers and math responsive block. During this time, I am facilitating four different groups based on their reading/math levels. Students are actively learning both with me in small group, and independently at the same time.

In order to fully benefit from what these programs have to offer, my students need headphones. With this resource, my students will be able to listen to directions, have passages read to them, and be able to listen to instructional videos. This will greatly support their personal growth in literacy and math material!
