Listen and Learn!

Help me give my students a good experience with our digital learning devices. We have iPads but we need headphones to listen and with this COVID-19 era, it is best if we don't share them.

My Students

I have a classroom full of energetic, inquisitive, enthusiastic learners. They are easily engaged in learning together, practicing their new skills, and creating in every academic area. They enjoy sharing the work they produce with me and with each other. One great example is their practice station work. They are so proud when their writing and letter work is shared with the class and they receive a glitter star! They also enjoy speaking into the teacher's microphone to tell about their work during our oral language block. They share out what they did that day and who they worked with. They also love to have their writing and drawing displayed on our "Wall of Fame." My students are building such great learning habits this year!

My Project

I teach my students in-person currently and historically we have shared headphones among my AM Kindergarten class and my PM kindergarten class. With COVID, sharing is not ideal. This year I have very large classes with 30 and 33 students. I don't have enough headphones for that many students to have their own set. They can learn better when they can hear the instructions and speak on the apps they use in class. We are excited to have sets of headphones for every student to complete their learning on our iPads!
