The students in my kindergarten classroom are students who get excited about learning and growing. They show great excitement and become very engaged when they are able to use bright colored manipulatives and materials for hands-on learning and engagement.
Our school is a Title I school, and many of my students may not always have all their economic, physical, and social needs met, but they are always excited, engaged, and ready to learn.
They can often be heard saying “I love school,“ and I want to support their love for school with materials and tools that will spark their curiosity and excitement from the moment they enter the classroom. Having a print-rich environment with colorful paper and print can help to foster and encourage exploring, learning, and growing in their kindergarten classroom.
My Project
We have been combining digital learning with traditional practices each day in our classroom, and the tools for both methods of learning have become necessary during our daily learning sessions.
Having headphones for use during our digital sessions, will help to keep our kindergarteners engaged and on task.
Headphones will also help our students to work together at the same table without disturbing each other.
Please help our class to secure these digital learning support aids. We want to ensure that we give our students the best chances for learning, and these tools will help to minimize other distractions and encourage student focus during our lessons and learning periods.
