Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The learning process for first graders is extremely precise and determined. The bridge from concrete to the abstract acquisition of knowledge consists of managing several didactic resources like technology, teaching and manipulative materials, helping students to stand out in their grade level.

Some of my pupils are learning how to count, write and read, while others are on an advanced learning process.

In my classroom, we'll be gradually developing new experiences of how to get new knowledge playing and learning at the same time where they can help each other and they will understand in the easy way how to reach the objectives for first grade.

My Project

First graders love to learn, especially while manipulating objects. Magna-Tiles will help them to apply their knowledge on shapes, patterns, ordinal numbers, spatial field and quantity and using their imagination.

Magna-Tiles and the activity program for foundational skills will be enhancing my students' understanding how to capture from simples steps and games to apply in real life.

Implementing these two resources in my classroom give my students the opportunity to demonstrate their ability to solve problems in many ways: becoming great listeners, confident pronunciation English speakers, and connoisseurs of mathematical concepts which favors them for the rest of their lives.
