Water conservation is a key issue facing our country today. I would love to help educate my students, our future leaders, on the importance and benefits of water conservation by having water accessible to my students throughout the school day.
My 5th graders are extremely inquisitive and continue to search and question all of the elements of what they learn in class. Research shows that replenishing oneself with water throughout the day is not only healthy, but helps students stay focused. I would like to give my students the opportunity to further expand their understanding of water stewardship and the healthy benefits of water by providing “liquid learning”.
I need 5 sets of water bottles for my students to get my students engaged in learning about water stewardship and the benefits of learning through water. With individual water bottles, my students can personally experience the benefits of water. My students will get the opportunity to act as investigative scientists by recording and evaluating learning with constant water access throughout the school year.
Your help will pave the way to water stewardship for the future. My students will develop and further enhance their understanding of water conservation through “liquid learning” despite language and learning differences.
