My students need liquid tiles to make a sensory learning wall.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Sauls's classroom raised $717

My Students
My classroom is a self-contained exceptional children's setting. There are several students with Autism, Down's Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other various intellectual disabilities. They range from fourteen years old to nineteen years old. We preach independence and teach them to advocate for their own wants and needs. We do not hone in on their individual disabilities, but rather focus on what they are able to do.
A lot of our students thrive off of light, sound, and movement when they are up moving around the room, so providing a sensory wall will help them stay focused and be successful in class.
My Project
This project is designed to give our students a sensory wall that they can interact with throughout the school day. A lot of our students like to get up and move around the classroom during lessons and other times of instruction. My dream is to give them a specified place in the room where they can let loose, have fun, and interact with a series of liquid tiles that will make up our sensory wall.
Providing an interactive, dynamic place where students can go in the room will enable them to be comfortable, happy, relaxed, and successful in the classroom.
