My Project

Welcome to our K-8 public school located in the heart of suburban Arizona. I currently have a fourth-grade class consisting of some new students learning English as a second language, gifted learners for quantitative, verbal, and nonverbal, and students with various individual education plans.

I am asking for a grade-level literature set by CS Lewis called "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe."

What better way to incorporate all the reading standards together, than by a novel study with a great imagination! This book was published in the 1950s so it is nostalgic for many parents too! A popular theme in the book is forgiveness, which is a popular topic during our Social Emotional Learning meetings. This is a great fantasy novel written for children, out of 7 novels in the series. Let's get our students to fall in love with reading!
