Lions Are Kind & Compassionate

Help me give my students small toys and bulletin board supplies to provide positive incentives that promote KINDNESS and COMPASSION.

My Project

Our school is a place that strives for excellence and is committed to lifelong learning, student growth, and nurturing the whole child. We are the lions and we are the future!

We want to inspire our lion cubs to practice positive behaviors that will lead them to success in life.

One of the most important values we want to teach our students is COMPASSION. Our Choose Love Ambassadors (student leaders) will take the lead on spreading the message of KINDNESS to our school community. We hope to have them at recess, giving out lion kala (school money) to our K-5 students who are being nice to each other, thinking of others, and doing the right thing. Receiving positive reinforcement from their peers will make the message of compassion and kindness more meaningful. We hope to share the power of compassion with our parents at our parent workshops and school events. Our Choose Love Ambassadors will take the lead on spreading this message. The small toys and bulletin board materials I am requesting will encourage our students to practice kindness and compassion. Students will earn lion kala to purchase the incentives they earned! The bulletin board decorations will be used in public spaces to encourage kindness. The stretchy toys, kindness cards, and squishy toys will be incentives that students will be excited to earn. I hope to encourage students that being kind is cool!
