My Project
Every year in our drama class my 7th and 8th graders learn the basics of stage makeup and focus on a specific skill they apply for a practical final. Last year we did SFX wounds and the kids were thrilled!
This year we are focusing on how to manipulate an actor's features to turn them into creature characters.
For their practical assessment they will be turning themselves (or a classmate) into an animal of their choice. For budget purposes, we use basic face paint rather than proper theatrical makeup, but we're running low! To complete this unit this year, we'll need to restock and would really appreciate the assistance.
