My Students
My students are eager actors and actresses. This year they are channeling their acting skills to become the characters in the Lion King. They have been practicing dance, music and singing parts. Instead of going with their classmates during lunch, they have spent their lunch time with me and the other drama teacher to practice their lines. My students are dramatic. Now I want to channel that drama to the small stage.
Do you remember the first time you saw Simba, Nala, Timon and Pumba?
If you were at our school, you will remember the first time you see the Lion King come alive on stage!
My Project
My students have been practicing for their performance of the Lion King for the school year. To show off their hard work, my students will need masks for their portrayal of the characters in the play.
They have been practicing for so many months and are so excited to do their part for the show.
They have been asking about costumes and what they would be wearing. These masks would help to complete their costumes fop their portrayal of Simba, Mufasa, Nala, Scar and animals of the pridelands. You will make my students so excited and thrilled. The fabric will be used to make the shirts for the narrators aka the Rafikis.
