This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

4th grade has the last lunch of the day in my building. I like to provide healthy snacks for my students to hold them over until lunch. I want to provide snacks that will be healthier and give my students some nourishment and energy to help them push through on their learning while waiting for lunch. These items will help provide that for my students.

I tried this last year and it made a difference in their attention spans while anticipating lunch with a healthy snack that many were excited to receive each day.
