This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
A carpet is a wonderful addition to the early childhood classroom. It is great for whole class meetings, it benefits with seating arrangements, and it is a great place for children to build on and play using blocks, cars, and community figures. Having a comfortable place to sit helps children concentrate on what they are learning as opposed to struggling to find a comfortable way to sit. This particular carpet also has big numbers which will grab their attention and help develop their number sense. These benefits create an inviting classroom my children will want to be a part of. I hope you can help me bring this realization to life. Thank you.
