My Students
I am a teacher at an incredible high school where I get the honor of teaching aquatic science to some really great students. Unfortunately, the program is lacking quite a bit of materials we need to make this the best hands on learning experience for the class. With it being a Title I-funded school, it is hard for me to ask for students and their families to help fund what we need. I am hoping to raise money so that I will have what is required to best support my students as they learn. Thank you for any help that you are willing to give!
My Project
We are in need of lights, a squeegee and ane net. We have had aquariums donated to the class but they have no lights so we are in need of lighting for a 55 gallon tank and 6 20 gallon tanks.
Also we are in need of a floor squeegee because when we do tank maintenance the floor gets extremely wet and hard to clean with just towels.
Finally we are in need of a fish net to help us catch local fish out of our retention pond. Students will used these fish to raise and observe in their fish tanks.
