Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My cart includes a variety of engaging, hands-on STEM materials designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding across key areas of science, technology, engineering, and math. These resources will help my students explore real-world concepts through active experimentation and discovery:
STEM Powered Kits – These kits provide opportunities for students to build, create, and problem-solve through projects focused on energy, motion, and engineering design.
They encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and perseverance.
Sound-Activated Dancing Lights Kit – This fun and interactive kit introduces students to the principles of sound and electronics. Students will see how sound waves can be converted into light and movement—making science both exciting and accessible.
Seed Science STEM Kits – With these kits, students will investigate plant biology, the life cycle of seeds, and sustainability. Through observation and hands-on activities, they’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world and how it grows.
Changes in States of Matter STEM Kit – This kit allows students to explore the physical changes of matter—solid, liquid, and gas—through engaging experiments. They'll witness firsthand how heat and cold affect different substances and deepen their understanding of scientific principles.
High-Quality Cooler – To ensure successful experimentation with freezing and melting processes during the states of matter activities, this cooler will help maintain the necessary cold conditions. It’s a key support item for keeping materials at optimal temperatures during scientific investigations.
These materials will bring science to life in my classroom, encouraging students to ask questions, experiment freely, and connect what they learn to the world around them. With your generous support, we can inspire the next generation of thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers.
