This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Bright, fluorescent lighting can be a strain on the eyes sometimes, especially when you've just come back from being energetic at recess or lunch and need a minute to self regulate and cool down with the rest of the class.
Ambient lighting can help our students have a calm learning environment that they can come back to after running around during recess.
After recess, lunch, and other special activities, our class takes 3-5 minutes to practice breathing and mindfulness to self regulate and get back on track to learn. Help us bring calm lighting to the room!
