Help me give my students these drums to help them get active while learning about rhythm and working together as a musical group.

My Project

My students are the best! They are hungry to learn and eager to be great musicians! We are in a rural community, and they have such diverse interests and abilities that the possibilities for their future are limitless.

These drums will help engage their active spirits and focus their energy while learning to work together as a "team" on a musical selection.

We plan to use these drums to learn the very basics of rhythm. As we learn to work together and follow a conductor, there will be opportunities for us to perform in front of parents and peers, which will help cement that learning and create lifelong memories of our days in elementary school.

We will have the ability to listen to and respond to all kinds of music, from holiday to seasonal, and from classical to popular. They will be responding to all types of music and broadening their exposure to lots of great musical examples!
