My Project
Our students are a diverse group, with many English Language Learners and students with disabilities, but they all share a passion for art and creativity. Art allows them to express themselves, build confidence, and understand complex STEM concepts. However, due to financial constraints, many families cannot afford the technology or supplies needed for digital creation. This is why it's so important that our school provides access to art education and technology for all students, grades 6-12.
Our school is in desperate need of a MacBook Air Laptop to unleash the full potential of our students' creativity.
Without laptops equipped with advanced editing features, students are unable to bring their ideas to life in video production. A new MacBook will allow them to create short films, teasers, and even practice self-taping for auditions in the entertainment industry. With green screen technology and professional editing software, we can elevate student projects to a whole new level. Although students currently use smartphones to record scenes and monologues, we lack the tools and space to properly edit and upload their footage, holding them back from fully realizing their potential.
This MacBook will be a shared resource in our library, available for all students in grades 6-12 to use. It will not only enhance art and video production but also provide access to essential tools for academic projects, presentations, and creative exploration across all subjects. I will work closely with students to ensure they get hands-on experience with digital media, video editing, and design. Your donation will give these students the opportunity to elevate their work and expand their skills, connecting them to a world of possibilities. Thank you for making this dream a reality!
