My Project

I teach at a school that teaches career electives to students who come from public schools all around our large district. My students are a diverse group of learners, and I want to offer them hands-on experiences with a variety of equipment. Next year, I will be teaching a new course that focuses on designing websites and creating content for digital media. Students will have the opportunity to earn industry-based credentials in web design and video editing.

Students need quality equipment to make their content look professional!

They are incredibly creative and have great ideas for their content, and these materials will help their projects pop.

Specifically, this project will fund HD cameras and lighting equipment for students to film their projects! They work so hard on getting the code for their websites just right, and will benefit greatly from being able to have good equipment to create content to share with the world! These experiences will translate directly into job skills as social media coordinators, web designers, and video editors.
