My Project
This equipment will facilitate a more efficient and engaging learning experience. My digital photography student's creativity is limited by the lack of photographic equipment. Providing each student with a memory card and increased access to readers will make students more productive, and avoid the frustration of not being able to print their selected images. While cameras are available, we lack memory cards and readers. Students currently use their cell phones for photography. Not all students have dependable phones.
While cell phone photography is an option, using cameras along with the lighting kit will allow students to learn the technical aspects of photography and create more interesting images.
Students will be able to experiment with exposures, composition and lighting as they explore and document their experiences, and environment. My students will be excited to use the lighting kit to control and manipulate lighting in order to create specific moods and effects.
