Help me give my students the best remote learning experience. With the webcam, I will be able to move freely and be animated to motivate my little learners during live sessions.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class of 24 students (10 Transitional Kindergarten students and 14 kindergarten students) live in the heart of Los Angeles! We call ourselves, "The Mighty little Eagles." Although we are small, we are pushing through these difficult times and continue to learn and grow. I see them once a week during a 1-hour live lesson and I can see their faces brighten up. I leave a daily recorded morning video for them Monday-Friday and parents say that they wait every morning for it to be posted.
My students love for learning is clear and I want to be there to encourage that love as much as I can during these difficult times.
Our class is always ready to work hard no matter where we are or how far apart we are from each other. We took any challenge that came our way in school and we will do the same now.
We would love to have you become part of our team by helping us have a memorial experience for the remainder of the school year!
My Project
My district provides teachers with technology, however mine is over 6 years old. It was passed on to me from a retiring teacher on her last day.
Now that we are in full mode of remote learning, I am using this technology like I never thought I would!
I will never forget one of my first live lessons, it was still a little nerve racking for me. Was I well prepared? Would my five and six year old students like this type of learning? It started off strong and everyone was having a great time learning, until my computer froze! It was the worst feeling ever. It was like I left a group of young children all alone in a strange place. A few seconds later I connected with another device, some never even noticed I was gone, but that was the moment I knew I needed to have the best technology to support my students in this new way of learning.
