This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students are challenged by their surroundings. They live in an area where we have shootings, and the neighborhood is riddled with poverty.
My students are just amazing.
Despite the fact that they have so much against them, they always strive to achieve. They are high achieving kids, and a poverty striken neighborhood. This shows that what is happening with these students is working and that all students can learn if we truly believe in them!
My Project
I want to change lives. I put so much love and so much effort into what I teach. I want them to know that I believe in them. I put 115% into what I teach. When they leave my classroom, I always want them to remember the science projects, the oral presentations and all they accomplished in one year. This camera helps me give them the gift of always remembering that when the bar is set really high, they can achieve.
I think this project is so important because it helps me document their learning, and helps the parents and students see their growth in their oral presentations, and academic learning from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
I will burn their pictures and their mini videos of their lesson. Please help!
