it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students’ creativity, curiosity, and drive to explore new ways of learning. They thrive when given hands-on, engaging opportunities to express themselves and collaborate. My AVID and science students are critical thinkers who enjoy solving problems, working together, and bringing ideas to life in innovative ways.
By providing cameras and a tripod, my students will have the tools to create professional-quality videos, commercials, and multimedia projects.
These resources will enhance their communication skills, allow them to explore storytelling through technology, and help them develop confidence in presenting their ideas. Whether documenting science experiments, making persuasive AVID college commercials, or crafting educational content, these tools will make learning more interactive and meaningful.
My goal for this project is to empower students with the skills and resources to explore video production, media literacy, and creative problem-solving. These experiences will help prepare them for future academic and career opportunities in a digital world.
What makes my students special is their enthusiasm for learning and their ability to think outside the box. They are eager to embrace new challenges and take ownership of their projects. With these cameras, they will have a voice, a vision, and the ability to share their learning with the world.
