This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of fun loving and energetic students from all walks of life.

They love to capture life, nature and people! They have a genuine love for photography and learning about how to improve their crafts whether in our classroom, football games, or sporting events. Our school is a diverse population of 2500 students. Our classroom camera inventory includes DSLR cameras that are outdated (9 years old) that limit their capabilities to achieve stunning prints.

My Project

My photography students will be able to produce higher quality images to send to our upcoming city rodeo and spring competitions and showcased in our school gallery. The photos the photography students take will also be used in our school yearbooks and newspapers

My students are so excited to be able to use updated cameras and utilize the skills being learned in our class.

Being able to actually see their images come to life and on display will provide a boost in their confidence and deeper appreciation for the art of photography.
