This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students live in one of the most challenging neighborhoods in the Bronx, New York. Our school is very limited in space and is not able to offer some of the other clubs and activities found in many schools however, we are now trying to use the technology available to us to start a student ran newscast. Content creation is a huge force right now and learning the 21st century skills that will allow my students to add to the world is invaluable.
Please help me give my students lighting equipment to make this newscast a reality.
With your help, we will have everything we need to film and record with good video and sound. Lights are needed to illuminate our iPads and this equipment allows us to create a mobile setup that can easily be put away and does not require a lot of space.
