My Students

I work with a dynamic and diverse group of 3rd graders in the suburbs of San Francisco, California. Our class is part of a mid-size neighborhood school where parents and their backpack toting kids filter in from the neighboring streets mostly on foot, but some on bikes too eager to start each day.

This community has a work hard and play hard vibe.

On any given day you might see kids reading quietly, sitting in a "Number Chat," building in the science and tech lab, or rocking out to a "Go Noodle" video with their teacher!

My Project

I can't wait to see my little learners in action creating their own video projects. Camera shy they are NOT and multimedia is huge in learning right now.

My students are engaged when given the opportunity to work together in a creative way.

I love that video presentation inspires even those students that find putting ideas on paper difficult.

iPads have easy to use camera features and apps for even young students. Please help me bring this technology to my 3rd graders as the possibility for creative learning is endless and priceless. My project includes 3 iPads and 3 cases for our classroom.
