Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school is not equipped with laptops that have advanced editing features for us to create videos. With a new MacBook, we will be able to take our work to a new level, and create short films, teasers, and practice self taping as we prep for auditions in the industry. With the use of smart phones, we are able to record our scenes and monologues, but we don't have access to editing software, nor the space to upload footage on a proper computer.
With a new MacBook, we will be able to engage in a film unit.
As a theater teacher, I always love to push myself to try new things in the classroom. Film has been highly requested by my students, and I would also love to teach acting for the screen - not just the stage.
