My Project

As the Literacy Media Specialist for our elementary school, I have the joy of working with curious, imaginative, and eager learners every day. Our students bring a sense of wonder and enthusiasm to the library that inspires everything I do. They love stories, hands-on exploration, and learning experiences that feel magical and meaningful.

I’m requesting these smart, color-changing lights to help transform our library into a space that excites and welcomes every student.

With this lighting, I can create immersive environments that match story themes, highlight special reading weeks, and provide a calming atmosphere for focused reading time. Whether it's a blue glow for ocean stories or a golden sunset hue for fairy tales, this tool will help bring stories to life in a way that engages every learner.

This project will support visual learners, encourage more visits to the library, and help build a stronger connection between books and joyful experiences. It’s a small change that will make a big impact on how our students see and feel about their learning space.
