This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The light table is a fantastic way to entice Pre-K Students to count and investigate! It will engage their sense of sight, make regular activities more fun, and can be used to teach math and science topics. This wooden table will make an exciting addition to our other types of sensory table, such as a sandbox. The sense of sight is just as important as the sense of touch!
My students will learn and explore different educational materials for non-English speakers.
Also, my students will be able to draw and trace numbers, letters, and objects. We can also view X-rays from various animals and humans to compare and contrast.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
