This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students almost all come from low-income families. Many of them haven't been taught to value education, and almost all of them don't like math. (Let's be honest, most people say they don't like math.) To help encourage my students to learn, and to support their various learning needs, I try to provide an atypical classroom environment. Avoiding harsh lighting is one way to help their learning.

These LED lights will provide alternate lighting options to help my students work in a calming environment.

I will use these lights in combination with LED strip lights to provide a calm environment for my students to thrive in.
