My Project
The books and Legos I am requesting will help make a difference in the learning in an interactive way. As they interact with characters, settings, and each other, the students will associate their actions with what they are learning which will solidify their understanding of the material with their creative natures. This method of involvement learning will help the students in their motivation for learning by providing a fun, imaginative, and interactive environment that encourages them to develop independent exploration and thinking.
My goals for this project are to motivate the students to develop awareness for their own learning which will inspire thought and invoke engaging challenges to the students to find solutions on their own problem solving, and to find the joy in discovery and learning from this type of interaction.
My students are special in that they need many different ways to learn. They need hands on learning because they come from many different backgrounds and some are multicultural students. Many of the students are low income and do not have many means to enhance their educational experiences. They are limited in their opportunities and need help from other resources to help them in their success and advancements in education and life.
