My Students
This is my second year teaching Pre-K in a NYC public school. I have 13 students that I just met today! I have 6 boys and 7 girls. Each of them arrived eager to learn and so excited to begin their school career. Pre-K is the beginning and I believe it is never too early to teach children how to be explorers, discoverers and creators. It is through play that children learn best. When a student is engaged they learn and grow. I would really appreciate your support in getting these items and helping to make my students’ first school year, one to remember. I want to continue to instill a love of learning, imaginative play and risk-taking that will last each of them a lifetime!
My Project
We have been using our imagination to create beautiful art masterpieces. But now we want to grow even more. Prek is where each student begins to explore their name and letters. We are learning how to form each letter correctly to instill proper writing habits. I am requesting a tabletop light easel to help make learning more fun. This compact easel won’t take up a ton of space but will provide each student with opportunities to learn letter formation and so much more in a fun new way. Please help my class continue to learn and grow and become Kindergarten ready.
