My Project
I teach U.S. History to an incredible group of high school students in a low-income community in Los Angeles. What I love most about my students is their curiosity, resilience, and desire to understand how the past shapes the world they live in today.
Despite the challenges they face outside the classroom, they come eager to learn, to question, and to make connections between history and their own lives.
To help them succeed, I’m requesting essential classroom materials that will make a huge difference in how we learn and stay organized: File cabinets, electric pencil sharpeners, spiral notebooks, wireless printer, and a projecting screen can help my students achieve their academic goals.
These resources may seem simple, but they are vital to building a classroom where every student has the tools they need to succeed. Your support will not only provide materials—it will show my students that their education matters and that others believe in their potential.
Thank you for your considering our classroom project and helping bring history to life!
