Many of my students deal with outside distractions before they even get to school, which can cause a great deal of stress and anxiety. I like to provide opportunities within my classroom to address this by providing some jobs. Students feel appreciated and honored to get the title of teacher assistant and I would like them to take pride in this role. I would like to provide a teacher assistant office chair that they get to use while serving in this role. In addition, I would like to help calm their nerves and anxiety.
I would like to provide calm lights by having table lamps for the groups that I set up for the school year.
This helps to provide an environment in the classroom that can reduce stress and their nerves. While these purchases may seem small to others, this can really make a difference within the classroom for my students. Little things can go a long way, and I hope you join me in providing a relaxing and calming environment for my students.
