This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This lighting accessories will help students apply their learning of film techniques, including framing, lighting, and camera angles. Specifically, these materials will help students make short film projects.

For this project, I want students to experience firsthand what it's like to be a cinematographer (and a director), what it's like to light a scene, and bring text to life.

The plan is for my Film as Literature students to make short film projects so that students experience something new and, quite possibly, find a potential career option after they graduate college.
