Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Circuits are a hard concept for students to understand, even though they cover the topic in 4th and 5th grade. This project will help buy copper paper tape, LED lights, and batteries to create a few cool projects to help students understand closed and open circuits.
The STEM kits will help students engineer and build their own models of a ferris wheel, bridge, etc.
Students thrive best with hands-on learning and will have a better understanding of circuits which helps them realize the technology behind computers, light bulbs, light switches, and more. Help me inspire the future engineers and scientist in our fifth grade classroom!
