My Project
Light tables were just used for science exploration and discovery, but now it can be used to enhance literacy, math, and writing skills as well as with play and fun.
The light table can be used for from open-ended play experiences to arts and crafts, to teaching academic concepts like science, math, literacy and more.
Children are naturally drawn to the gentle glow of the light table and colors. They will stay there for long periods of time, which is great for stretching their attention spans and fostering continue engagement with learning activities. Translucent manipulatives can be used to aid the use of the light table.
