My Students
I work in extremely high poverty with free lunch and breakfast for all of the students in my school. My students never fail to amaze me. They rise to any challenges; they face and teach me new things every day.
I have a large group of kindergartners ready to blossom as readers, writers, and mathematicians.
School is a fun and safe place for my students, and it is my job to make sure they want to come to my class and have what they need to be successful. I need to make sure my students are safe.
My Project
My kindergarten students have so much fun learning in a hands on way. I would love to give them another way to learn while having fun. By having a light table in my classroom, students would be able to practice their letter knowledge, numbers, patterns, sorting and so much more. They can use it for sensory play or even building. There are so many options with this table and it will promote learning and play throughout the day.
This table will promote cooperation and social play each and every day.
I am excited to add this to our center time and see the smiles on my students' faces.
